MergeroosPrivacy Policy
This policy explains how the Mergeroos mobile game (“Mergeroos”, “the app”, “we”, “us”) and this website handle information.
- You don’t need an account to play, and we don’t ask for your name, email address or any other contact details.
- Your game progress and settings are stored only on your device.
- The app shows ads from Google AdMob. Google collects some device and usage information to deliver those ads, as described below.
- We do not sell your personal information, and the app does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
1. Information stored on your device
Mergeroos saves your scores, unlocked levels and creatures, and settings (such as sound and music) in the app’s own storage on your device. We don’t receive this information. It stays on your device and is deleted when you delete the app.
2. Advertising (Google AdMob)
Mergeroos shows banner, full-screen and optional rewarded video ads through Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. When an ad is requested or shown, Google’s software in the app may collect information such as:
- your device’s IP address (from which Google may infer an approximate location, such as your country or city);
- device information, such as model, operating system version, language and app version;
- information about the ads you see and interact with, such as impressions and taps.
Google uses this information to deliver and measure ads, limit how often you see the same ad, and prevent fraud and abuse.
The app requests non-personalised ads only. That means the ads you see are not based on your past activity in other apps or websites. The app does not ask for permission to track you through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency, and it does not access your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA).
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app may ask for your advertising consent choices through Google’s consent message. Where the app offers it, you can change these choices at any time in the app’s settings.

3. Purchases
If the app offers in-app purchases (such as a one-time “Remove Ads” option), payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We don’t receive or store your payment details. Apple tells the app only whether a purchase was completed, so the app can unlock it.
4. This website
This website is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles technical information such as your IP address in order to deliver pages and protect the service; see the Cloudflare Privacy Policy. The website uses no cookies, analytics or advertising, and we do not use this information to identify or follow you.
5. Children
Mergeroos is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us and we will help remove it.
6. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live (for example the EEA, the UK, or US states such as California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal information, and to withdraw consent. Because we don’t collect personal information ourselves, most requests about advertising data are best directed to Google, using Google’s tools at myaccount.google.com. You can also contact us and we will help.
You can stop all information collection by the app by uninstalling it.
7. Security
We do not operate servers that store your information. Information collected by Google is protected under Google’s own security practices.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles information (for example by adding personalised ads, analytics or accounts), we will update this policy and its effective date before the change takes effect.
